Export and import of conditions and/or surcharges
(As of 2022 SP03)
As of 2022 SP03, system conditions of system article suppliers (aluminum and steel) can be imported or exported as an Excel file. The buttons for the import and export are located at the top of the group. You can decide whether to import or export everything, just the conditions or just the surcharges.
Please note that changes to the master data in the Contacts dialog box can only be transferred for new projects (menu ribbon, General tab > Master data > General > Contacts). If the imported data is to apply to a project that has already been created, you need to import the Excel file into the Project properties list in the project window. Also amend your saved blocks for your system conditions as required.
Please note the following particularity of the discount values for the conditions (does not apply to surcharges):
When exporting to the Excel file, the prefixes for the discounts entered are switched (negative becomes positive, positive becomes negative).
When importing from the Excel file, the prefixes for the discounts entered in the Excel file are switched (negative becomes positive, positive becomes negative).
Glass/panel
Glass and panel dialog box:
New filter options for glass
As of this version, the following additional columns can be displayed in the detailed view of the glass and panel list in the Glass and panel dialog box:
- Safety barrier loading

In the master data and when loading glass in projects and items, these columns can be used to filter the glass according to the desired characteristics.
Machine control
Processing mode:
New – restrict serial processes for profile divisions on profile components
For frame profiles (including frame profiles of insert units), divisions can be entered using the Add profile division context menu entry in the unit view. If you divide a profile using this function, a new joint is created (profile division joint).
As of this version, the new property Ignore profile division is available for new serial processes.
- If you check this checkbox, the serial processes are generated on all sections of the profile. For processing groups type 3 and type 4, any joint can be selected as the End except the profile division joint. The end of the entire profile can be selected as the End of profile.
- If you do not check this box, the profile division joint is taken into account and the serial process is only generated on the selected part of the profile. For processing groups type 3 and type 4, the profile division joint can be selected ad the End of profile.
Please note:
Serial processes entered in previous versions of the program remain unchanged. The Ignore profile division checkbox cannot be selected for these serial processes.
Processing mode:
Serial processes – Type 5: Joint by joint (new)
As of this version, the new Type 5: Joint by joint can be selected as a serial process. The start and end coordinates can be entered in the same way as for type 3 (without dimensions +/- and formulae). As parameters, you can specify the Distance to joint, Maximum spacing and Maximum number of joints.
Preliminary structural calculation

For units with Vent with single split insulating bar and Vent with fixed insulating bar, there is a new checkbox for Fixing on one side, inside, 1-n under the property Handle, inside, 1-n. If you check this box, the fixing material for fixing on one side which is not visible from the outside will be calculated for the inner handle. An outside handle cannot be selected.
For units with the Sliding type of operation, the checkbox is not offered if a handle set has been selected.
Please note that you have to adapt the handle when selecting the handle fixing on one side. The support leg must be removed.
Schüco ASE 60, Schüco ASE 80.HI, Schüco ASE 80 LC:
Glass breakage sensor
The glass breakage sensor (Art. No. 263606) can be used for all types. It can be selected in the Field properties tab under the Fitting group. One glass sensor is then calculated per vent.
Schüco ASE 60 and ASE 80.HI:
TipTronic type of operation – vent and fixed light widths
As of this version, the segment dimensions of the vent can be adjusted for types with a fixed light, including for the Lift-and-slide with TipTronic and Sliding with TipTronic types of operation. In the Field properties dialog box, you can enter the required dimensions for the vent under the Dimensions group. If you enter dimensions that lead to a division of the vent which is not permissible, you will receive a corresponding notification. The segment dimensions cannot be adjusted for types 2A, 2D and 3E.
Please note for the following types with the TipTronic type of operation:
- Type 1A, type 1A.2
- Type 1A.B, type 1A.B.2
- Type 1B
- Type 1D.B, type 1D.B.A
The new formulae for the division of the vent are taken into account in the program for all single-track types. These dimensional changes affect existing items. The segment dimensions change in accordance with the K drawing. Only items that were blocked before installation of the 2022 R2 version will remain unchanged.
Schüco AS PD 70.NI:

(As of 2022 SP04)
For the types in this system, you can also have the design generated with a dynamic threshold. To do this, select the entry Dynamic for the Threshold design unit parameter in the Item data tab.
Schüco ASS 39 PD.NI:
Centring bar replaced
Instead of bonding the centring bar (Art. No. 284878), as of this version the guide pieces at the top and side are calculated (Art. No. 220778 and Art. No. 220779). These are screwed into the outer frame.
Units with 90 degree corners are exceptions to this. Centring bar Art. No. 284878 is still calculated for these.
Please note:
This change also affects existing items.
Façades (aluminium)
Schüco AOC:
System update
The calculation in the program is carried out in accordance with the updated order and fabrication documentation. This has resulted in the following changes:
- Thermal insulation unit parameter:
The following options have been renamed:
Standard => Non-insulated
SI => Insulated - Isolator profiles:
For vertical façades with Insulated thermal insulation (formerly SI), the isolator profiles can no longer be selected in the Item data tab. Instead, the isolator profiles are automatically calculated according to the infill thickness.
Please note:
The selection you have made for existing items will be removed. The calculation result may also change. - Assembly clips for screw-fixing the pressure plate:
The technical setting for calculating assembly clips is no longer offered for the system.
Please note:
If, previously, assembly clips were calculated for an item, these will be removed as of this version. - New – Single-profile solution for corners in polygon façades:
With the new variable glazing rebate gaskets, inner and outer corners can be constructed as a single-profile solution in the appropriate angle ranges. Please refer to drawing K1025844 in this regard. The program will automatically calculate this version for the corresponding angle ranges. Using the context menu entry Change façade corner mullion xy section, you can swap to the double-profile solution as an alternative.
Please note:
This change affects existing items too. A double-profile solution becomes a single-profile solution when the angle in an existing item satisfies the rules in the K drawing. - New – Ventilation concept with gasket with fin:
As of this version, you can find the options for the Glazing rebate ventilation under the Drainage / ventilation group in the technical settings. In addition to the Total ventilation previously calculated as standard, you can select the Ventilation concept with gasket with fin here as an alternative. - New – Wall attachment gasket:
As of this version, you can find the Wall attachment gasket checkbox under the Gasket group in the technical settings. If you check the box, the wall attachment gasket is calculated. - The new ventilated spandrel profiles are calculated.
The new Panel construction version has been added to the existing Ventilated spandrel version. This corresponds to the Non-ventilated panel design in the manual.
Schüco AF UDC 80:
New processing setting for unit ventilation
Ventilation of the units can take place via a drill hole in the side of the isolator, or via slots in the pressure plate and cover cap.
As of this version, there is a new Ventilation and drainage property for this option under the Drainage / ventilation group in the processing settings.
